The solutions to achieve national security from the perspective of Imam Ali is the issue that is considered in this article. Achieving the new Islamic civilization and how to manage the challenges that our Islamic system is facing today has revealed to everyone the necessity of awareness and, in the next stage, the application of his sublime thoughts in this regard. Examining the previous resources and using the descriptive and analytical method shows that one of the most important concerns of Imam Ali was to create security in the country against internal and external threats. Paying attention to the words and lifestyle of Imam shows that in order to achieve national security, he considered the formation of a government. the existence of military forces and having military equipment to be necessary and in line with achieving national security. He has also paid great attention to the issue of unity and considered confrontation (war and jihad) with those who endanger the security of the country to be inevitable.
