Maitham Tamar was a loyal friend of Imam Ali (a), a fighter who sacrificed his life for his cause, which was to support the Ahl al-Bayt province. In addition to being known as a fighter, he was the head of a family branch that was known as the family of science, and Shi'ism among them was considered a family and hereditary Shi'ism. Maysham left the notebook that was the result of his notes on Imam Ali (a.s.) for his children, and his children and grandchildren participated in the transmission of Imams' traditions. Maysham's children, who were four, took a step in the father's path by narrating traditions related to the characteristics and virtues of Imam Ali (a.s.). After Maytham's children, Maytham's descendants also tried in the field of Shiite education transmission. Sources have mentioned nine descendants of Maitham who surpassed their fathers in learning and spreading the knowledge of Ahl al-Bayt. Among the descendants of Maitham, three branches of Shoaib bin Maitham, Imran bin Maitham and Salih bin Maitham tried to spread the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt and Shia hadith sources have narrated their traditions. The intellectual tendency of Meisham Tamar's descendants was a science-oriented and moral-oriented view of the pure imams, and in their narrations, the jurisprudential, interpretative and moral aspects of the imams have been highlighted. They have rarely attempted to convey the virtues and unusual characteristics of imams.
In this research, by examining the documents and the text of the traditions left by the descendants of Maysham, in addition to identifying their names, their intellectual tendencies and interests will be identified and studied.
